Hun Many calls on people to remain united in the cause of the motherland

Preas Vihear: President of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, Hun Many, reminded the need of the people to unite as a whole for the cause of the motherland, to respond to various abuses from abroad.

In the ceremony of announcing the composition of the committee of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, in Preah Vihear province and the meeting with the committee of communes, Sangkat, districts, provinces in the structure of the UYFC in Preah Vihear province, on the morning of February 18, 2022, Mr Hun Many reminded of the aggression from neighbouring countries above the temple of Preah Vihear in 2008, urging people to be vigilant in all these things.

He said: "The story of Preah Vihear is not new, but the case of the temple of Preah Vihear and Oddar Meanchey province has been tested continuously, such as the experience in 2008. The temple of Preah Vihear belongs to Cambodia and, more precisely, has been recognized since the 1960s, but in 2008 we still received a series of abuses. What kind of problems will we face in the future? ”

"So we have to be careful," he added. The experience of 2008 clearly shows that the Cambodian people have a spirit of unity in the cause for the nation and the motherland. "Khmer unity, Khmer victory."

At the same time, he added that the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) should maintain the mechanism of building good deeds, encouraging, providing warmth to local people and setting an example for the next generation.

Mr HUN Many mentioned the three work cultures of the UYFC is to participate in learning and listening to the leadership of leaders, at the national and local levels at all levels, views, experiences of leaders as an opportunity to form an idea to develop capacity. Participation in activities in line with the direction of the Royal Government with responsibility and recognition from the masses across the country, as well as activities that are initiated by the UYFC including programs that the UYFC Initiated and organized at the local, capital, provincial, national and international levels.
